This watch was full of hairs. Most likely from a woolen jumper and the fibers get wrapped around the winder and enter the watch that way.
The watch also had damage to one of the case lugs.
I serviced the movement by stripping it completely and cleaning the parts. After re-assembly, oiling and calibration I started on repairing the lug.
I had to weld some gold to the lug in order to fill the damage – then re-shape it to match the other three. The end result is a big difference.
