This Omega Seamaster Professional with a 1538 quartz movement came in with a cracked glass. We had to replace the glass with a genuine Omega sapphire glass and service the movement.
Glass fragments had worked their way through the dial via the date window and so it had to be stripped completely to make sure all the parts were clean.
Upon opening the watch we found the battery to have been secured in the movement using tape which is not the most professional of methods. Upon re-assembly this was put right.
The case and bracelet were very badly scratched and so it was polished and looked fantastic as a result.
