When I first learned of the Watch Repair Course, I didn’t know what to expect. As a watch repair beginner, I was hoping to learn a bit more than I could from just watching random Youtube videos.

As I worked my way through the course I was pleasantly surprised by the thorough and clear explanations that Mark gives. He starts from the beginning, and takes you each step through learning about the materials needed and basics of watches and their repair.

I have been a teacher at the high school and university level for more than two decades, and I can say that this is a good course. Mark is a patient and thoughtful teacher. He has a very clear scope and sequence to the course, and he has a methodical and appropriate pace.

When it came to the end of Level 1, I sort of thought I had things down. I took the test, thinking it would likely just be a few terms and general ideas. Thankfully, it was thorough as well, and it made me return to the lessons and make sure I could really distinguish between the parts and functions.

This is absolutely worth the modest investment. It is really quite a good value, and I’m grateful that Mark took such care in putting it together.
