Level 1, 2, 3 - wonderful courses to get started
After watching hours of YouTube videos about watchmaking i decided to try watchmaking as a hobby. A number of the videos i watched spoke highly of Mark’s classes so i decided to start there. I have taken Levels 1, 2, and 3. I am enrolled for Level 5 but it’s currently too advanced for me. I feel i need to work on more basic movements before moving to chronographs.
Level 1, 2, and 3 are paced perfectly. Mark gives you time to absorb each step as his voice and actions are measured and pleasing. Having the actual movement that Mark uses is very helpful. You can work right along side him.
There is so much information packed into these 3 courses. I keep going back and reviewing the material. The courses are organized into small sections that are easy to find when you become stumped on an issue once you begin working on your own watches.
I also highly recommend Mark’s YouTube channel where he works on a great variety of watches. Also, his form watchrepairtalk.com is the best of it’s kind.
